A Mystery Farce. Mavis Templeton Hollister and her lover plan to kill her wealthy husband Edgar, and seem to succeed quite quickly and easily, but have they? With the mystery surrounding Edgar’s disappearance being investigated by two different members of the Harrogate Police force, as well as the interfering housekeeper, things get quite complicated. Then to add to the complications for Mavis and her lover, Edgar’s daughter arrives, along with her American fiancé.
