The privacy of anyone associated with Bolton Amateur Theatre Societies (BATS) is very important to us, and how we deal with personal information is very limited.
We hope the way in which we gather and use your personal information addresses and respects any concerns you may have.
We will only use the personal information we gather:
a) in the normal course of our activities to provide products and services (e.g ticket offers, information, promotions)
b) to identify you when you contact us
c) to determine if we can offer you a better service or relevant products
d) to send you e-mail, a BATS newsletter or postal updates of important changes or information which we feel may be of interest to you
e) for statistical analysis, including automated techniques to monitor and analyse our activities.
We do not share your information. No information is shared with any other individual or third-party organisation other than anything that is already in the public domain eg a website address. We do not “sell” our database to any third party organisation. We will disclose your personal information only if required or compelled to do so by law.
We do not collect any other information about you eg: any medical information, biometric information, employment information, age, race etc.
If you forward a BATS newsletter email to a friend, we do not store your email address or your friend’s email address, and no one is added to BATS’ Distribution List as a result of forwarding an email to a friend. GMDF does not have access to the email addresses used to share or receive that forwarded content.
To unsubscribe from a BATS newsletter email you simply click on the “unsubscribe” link which is at the head of all newsletters (we are obliged to display this link). Your information will automatically be deleted and you will not be able to re-subscribe using the same email address. This is for your protection, if you hit the link by mistake and wish to re-subscribe you will need to use an alternative email address.
